If a receipt has been incorrectly receipted, you can reverse the receipt and re-receipt it correctly.
- Go to Gateway Bar, select Transactions
- Type in the reference number/transaction number next to “Look for” (if Look for is not available in your Gateway – click on the word “Find” which will then add the “Look for” option)
- Click Find Now to search for the reference number entered
- Double click the transaction to open
- Select Reverse. A prompt requesting a reason for the reversal appears. (this is for auditing purposes and should accurately reflect the reason for the reversal).
