Release 9.16.764 – 24 August 2020

Bug Fixes

  • When we originally introduced TLS 1.2 support for Automated Invoice Management (AIM) back in July 2019 (Release 9.5.493), sadly it was found that it failed when processing files containing multiple invoices, we are pleased to announce this has finally been rectified.

  • The addition and removal of multiple debtor notice attachments should no longer exhibit the following strange behaviours:

    • Removing the incorrect attachment

    • Allowing a new attachment to be selected when there is already an existing one.

Release 9.15.752 – 27 July 2020

Bug Fixes

  • When sending important documents such as reports, statements etc included as attachments on emails, the system will no longer fail to:

    • Create and store the attachment document

    • Include the all important attachment

    • Send the email without the attachment being included.

Release 9.14.746 – 31 May 2020

Bug Fixes

  • Users will now only be able to add a single manager per business. Previously, the software gave users the ability to add additional managers, however doing so caused confusion as it resulted in the existing manager being overwritten. The software will now:

    • Prevent multiple managers being added

    • Provide the user with a helpful message if the business already has a manager.

Bug Fixes

  • To prevent potentially annoying issues when changing the smtp server setting, the software will no longer store the smtp server with extra leading or trailing white space.

  • Invoices will not longer get assigned to Com Leased Business when allocating after downloading through Macquarie Bank download

Features and Improvements

  • Sending emails securely using TLS is now supported from within RPO. This means that you can now send emails securely using
    • On premise email server such as Microsoft Exchange
    • Third party mail server such as Telstra, Google, etc

  • Users will no longer receive a redundant and annoying message about Windows 2000 incompatibility when executing end of month

Bug Fixes

  • While enhancing our emailing capabilities, we made an unintended change that prevented attachments being linked to tasks, we are sorry for the inconvenience and have now rectified the issue

Bug Fixes

  • The software will now correctly store the actual email that was sent when using a template instead of the template itself (i.e. it will have names and values in it!)

Release 9.8.616 – 31 October 2019

Bug Fixes

  • The software should no longer give you an error whenever you try to set a default Search By option for the Business screen. Additionally, it should now actually remember this setting

Release 9.7.587 – 25 September 2019

Features and Improvements

  • It is now possible to change the start date for the Tenant statement report, allowing for reports representing a custom time period to be produced. This should cut down on the overhead of providing reports from extremely long standing tenancies
  • The software no longer displays “Save” when you’re trying to email a Tenant statement. It now displays “Send” as intended. Sorry for the confusion

Bug Fixes

  • The software will no longer pop up the report request when the user cancels out of the print screen. We can understand why this was confusing
  • The allotments screen should now work consistently with scanned invoices
  • Effective paid to dates will no longer be incorrectly recalculated when accessing a business which has an ‘On Account’ balance.

Features and Improvements

  • The application should now start up slightly quicker than before, as we’ve stopped it from doing a bunch of relatively pointless work every single time it was opened

Bug Fixes

  • The software will no longer complain vehemently when it tries to recreate missing email PDFs for paths with unexpected characters in them
  • Additionally, the software will also no longer display error messages at the user when the email PDF regeneration fails, which was meant to be a silent background task anyway

 

Release 9.5.493 – 24 July 2019

Features and Improvements

  • The application will now check for missing email PDF files whenever the storage tab in the work centre is accessed. If a small number of missing files are found, they will be automatically fixed. If a larger number are found, the user will be prompted to apply the fix (as it might take a few moments)
  • The application should now start up quicker than before
  • The Task list should now open quicker than before
  • The Automated Invoice Management (AIM, previous Invoice Express) feature has been updated to comply with improved security requirements from the provider (DigitalReign)
    • Specifically, it now supports TLS 1.2

Bug Fixes

  • There is now a helpful tool tip explaining why the Tenant Statement From Date is not able to be changed
  • Images embedded in emails should no longer show as attachments when those emails are opened in Outlook
  • Emails with embedded images sent from the application should no longer cause the iPhone email client to crash

 

Release 9.4.408 – 20 June 2019

Features and Improvements

  • It is now possible to run the end of month for the next month on the last day of the previous month (i.e. run EOM June on 30 April)

Bug Fixes

  • It is no longer possible to change the Rent Review date for a Commercial Managed Tenancy business. We enabled this back in 9.3, but it causes a host of knock on effects and data integrity issues so has been disabled again. On the upside, now there is a helpful tooltip that explains why its disabled.

Features and Improvements

  • The performance of the business tab should be better when there are a lot of properties present
  • It is now less possible to run an End of Month for a month that has not yet happened (dates in the future can no longer be selected)

Bug Fixes

  • It is now possible to change the Rent Review date on a Commercial Managed Tenancy business
  • The correct attachment should now be stored in the database for statements processed with multiple payees
  • You can now easily select more appropriate dates and years when using the debtor notices feature (i.e. years after 2009)
  • After changing the value of the “Turn on Rich Text Emails” options in configuration, you can now apply that change
